AUTO SALVAGE & MOTOR SPARES
When you purchase a vehicle from S & I Thomson you will have to provide ID at the point of sale.
The ID we require is:
– Driving Licence (Photo Card and Paper Part)
and one of the following:
– Current Utility Bill in your Name (Gas, Electric, Household Telephone)
– Current Community Charge Bill
– Bank Statement
– Credit Card Statement
– Inland Revenue Statement or Bill
All documents provided must be dated in the last 3 months. If you don’t have a ‘Photo Card’ driving licence you will need to provide a UK Passport, Driving Licence and 2 current utility bills (as listed above).
A repairable vehicle is not in a roadworthy condition and is sold with no warranty and without M.O.T. and must not be used on any public highway until it is repaired to a standard which will enable it to be driven on a public road and comply with all legal requirements. You must obtain an M.O.T. certificate before allowing it to be driven on a public road or selling it or otherwise dealing with the vehicle. The vehicle is sold as damaged or as an insurance company total loss.
